Grow Well
Find out how our school helps students build healthy habits early through a four-part approach involving curricula, challenges, health data, and parent support.
Grow Well @ CHIJ Primary initiative aims to support the nation’s direction in promoting national health through early intervention to shape healthy habits in our students from young. We hope to develop a community of learners who will take ownership in cultivating a lifelong healthy lifestyle.
We will be adopting the 4 ‘I’s approach (Integrate, Innovate, Intervene, Involve) to provide us with clarity and to guide us to be more targeted in our Grow Well @ CHIJ Primary strategies.
Integrate
Incorporate Grow Well messages and content in existing structures and programme:

CCE (FTGP) Curriculum
CCE (MTL) Curriculum
Level Morning Moves / Recess Play
Innovate
Introduce new ideas and artefacts to complement existing school programmes:

Intervene
Leverage on data to help address current health trends and issues among the students:

Involve

By driving the 4 ‘I’s approach through effective collaboration between the different departments in the school and harnessing support from parents and other external partners, we are confident that we will be able to help our IJ girls Grow Well and Live Well.
