Overview Our Modern Dance CCA provides students with exposure to various dance genres, techniques and moves. We strive to ignite the passion for dance and appreciation for the Art form in each child. Our young dancers develop poise, grace, musicality, agility and flexibility through our training sessions. The opportunities for performing during school and nation-wide events also instill self-discipline and promote confidence. With much hard work and dedication, the Modern Dance members, guided by our talented instructors, have taken the dance arts scene in CHIJ Primary (Toa Payoh) to greater heights. Learning Outcomes By participating in the Modern Dance CCA, students will be able to: ● Gain exposure to varied dance forms, techniques & choreography. They will experience at least three different dance genres or styles. ● Develop confidence and a sense of pride through performing. ● Foster team building through group choreographies.
